Philip began his career in the inkjet printing industry back in 1995 when he joined HP as an inkjet MEMS printhead designer and manufacturer. He was part of the team that built HP's largest inkjet printhead factory ever, in Dubli,n Ireland. In 2006 he joined inkjet pioneer Xennia in the UK, then later Xaar. In 2011 he joined MCor Technologies 3D printer manufacturer as principal scientist and formulated their through-media colour inkjet systems. In 2012 he joined Cambridge University Engineering Department and in 2013 founded Camscience Ltd, an inkjet consultancy and developer of printhead maintenance and test equipment. Philip is a materials scientist and MEMS fabrication engineer by training; in the past 25 years has filed over 20 patents in inkjet technology. His business strategy is to create systems that extend inkjet printhead lifetimes to last the lifetime of the printer itself. In essence, enabling printhead immortality.
