Frank Tueckmantel, EFI’s Vice President of Corporate Marketing, leads the company’s worldwide marketing and promotional team, championing the customer benefits and technological advantages available with EFI’s leading portfolio of digital inkjet and print workflow technologies.
His international team executes all marketing functions, from corporate and marketing communications, public relations, event services, field and channel marketing to web marketing and creative services. Tueckmantel successfully launched and continues to drive the company’s social media communications strategy, further expanding the EFI’s proactive outreach to customers and the industry at large. Those efforts also include supporting the development and launch of the Imaging of Things Exchange – a new online community for EFI customers looking to connect with and share ideas with other print professionals and print buyers looking for unique and innovative applications.
Tueckmantel directs EFI’s global marketing and tradeshow activities including major US events, such as the annual EFI Connect users’ conference, Graph Expo and many others. As the leader of worldwide marketing promotion, he has also led EFI’s rapidly growing presence at leading tradeshows in Asia, as well as the company’s marketing expansion into new areas such as ceramic decoration and industrial textile imaging.
Tueckmantel’s work with EFI has driven continual market expansion in the analog-to-digital print transformation. Under his direction, EFI has had a series of increasingly successful drupa exhibits, including a drupa 2016 exhibition that exceeded every company projections, from lead and revenue generation, to press conference attendance and social media impressions. As a member of the drupa exhibitor board, Tueckmantel also is involved in crucial decisions around the show such as duration, timing and focus.
During his career with EFI, Tueckmantel has focused on thoughtful, thorough and successful brand management and program execution, managing continuous changes brought about by the company’s long track history of targeted acquisitions. Throughout it all, he keeps a tight focus on championing print in the market and works with his team to foster close relationships with EFI’s customers, partners and industry associations.
Over the last several years, Tueckmantel's marketing strategies have reinforced EFI's brand and reputation as the industry’s fastest growing company among the printing industry’s major technology providers.
Tueckmantel’s previous roles at EFI include the director of training, education, event services and eMarketing, as well as senior strategy and product manager. Prior to joining EFI in 1999, he spent six years at Minolta Germany and left as the head of its international color marketing group in Langenhagen, Germany.
Tueckmantel started his career in sales at Buerohaus Roeth, after completing his degree in Business Administration in his hometown of Wuppertal.
