"Innovation" has been a buzz word for as long as we have been in the Textile CAD industry. Universally, it can be a company’s search for sustainability, cost savings, faster production or shorter time to market. Innovation affects a company’s bottom line, public perception, as well as the overall quality of their product.

Developing CAD software has dropped Pointcarre right in the middle of that equation. Pointcarre is becoming the new standard in printing.

Pointcarré has been offering a new software solution for digital printing. A new module they call ColorSep. "This technological choice is the result of a year of development. As we come from weaving, we look at the printing with a new eye, says Freddy Brault, Pointcarre CEO.

The company, which is celebrating its 30th anniversary this year, originally designed products for weaving. Thus, it has developed a textile design software that allows you to design different kinds of printed patterns, stripes, tiles or mesh. The fabrics are simulated on a computer using CAD software, which is the only one in the world to be Mac and PC compatible.

Integrating several modular solutions, has proved to be an indispensable tool for very big names in fashion & home. Customers at Pointcarré include Tommy Hilfiger, Calvin Klein and Ralph Lauren, as well as Timberland, Paul Smith, Nautica, Ralph Lauren & Martha Stewart. Thanks to these international collaborations, Pointcarre realizes 70% of its turnover with the export.
