Leading manufacturer and supplier of banner finishing and textile finishing solutions, PLASTGrommet, will showcase the environmental benefits of fully recyclable automated textile finishing at FESPA Global Print Expo 2025 in Berlin on Stand B50, Hall 27 from May 6th to 9th 2025.

 

Through live demonstrations during the event, PLASTGrommet will partner with leading printable textiles manufacturer PONGS and Durst printing technology to showcase how to automate finishing for fully recyclable air mesh fabric banners. To demonstrate the capabilities of automated textile banner finishing, PLASTGrommet will utilise the new TexWiz platform, which will launch at FESPA and feature integrated hem sewing, eyeleting, and cutting functionalities.

 

This solution will demonstrate how easily finishing of fully recyclable textile banners can be automated, but also how by making simple switches such as the choice of eyelets and using polyester reinforcement tape for hemming fabric can ensure textile banners can be fully recycled after use. For example, when paired with PLASTGrommet’s proprietary clear plastic eyelets, polyester banner materials can be recycled with the eyelets still intact, removing the need for separation during the recycling process.

 

In addition, PLASTGrommet will demonstrate automated banner finishing in partnership with digital printable media supplier SOYANG Europe and Fujifilm printing technology, and will launch three additional technologies: the All In One Edge, a new All In One platform for entry-level banner finishing; the Winder 360 banner rewinding module for the All In One which reduces the time required to finish the short sides of banners by 50%; and JumboMAX, a new media roll lifter for Jumbo rolls up to 1,000kg.
